About Me

By way of introduction, I have been a Realtor since 2001.  After serving in leadership positions in Health Care and Human Resources management, I began investing in Real Estate in the mountains of North Georgia and Western North Carolina.  Being pleased with the lifestyle and financial results achieved through Real Estate investing; I sold my Staffing Company in Savannah, GA, and moved to the mountains to help other people achieve similar goals.

Since becoming a Realtor, I achieved Broker Status in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Impacting my profession is an important part of my personal mission.  Serving as President of the Appalachian Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors, facilitating New Realtor Orientation, and teaching “Ethics in Real Estate” for  new agents have been ways to achieve that mission. I also serve as a certified “Mentor” for “100 Days to Greatness”, a three month training program for new and experienced agents, enabling participants to build successful Real Estate Practices.

The privilege of living and working in the mountains causes me to want to give back in appropriate ways in the communities where I work and play. I was honored to serve as President of The Rotary Club of Blue Ridge and currently serve as a Trustee for the Georgia Rotary Student Program, a cultural exchange for college students from foreign countries.  In 2004, I was recognized by the Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors with “The Community Involvement Award,” and was a nominee for “Realtor of the Year” in 2005.

Increasing competence in service to my clients is a priority for me.  I hold the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) Designation, am certified as an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and will soon complete the requirements for the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation.  I partcipated as one of 400 Realtors out of 15,000 in a “Peak Performers” event in Bermuda in 2006.
